Day Job: Actress & Yoga Teacher 

Yogic diet: Lacto-ovo vegetarian, largely based on baked goods! 

Started practicing Ashtanga: 2005. I am but a foetus! 

Training: Self-practice, Kung Fu, personal trainer. All my training comes from getting on the mat no matter the weather, the time of day, with an injury, with a cold, 9 months pregnant, with 3 hours sleep. Even if it's just to sit quietly, knowledge comes from walking the path that is preached.

Nicknames: Nuds, Gurubadjie

Source of Inspiration: My wise & patient husband, my fearless daughter, the wisdom of the human body. 

Often heard saying: 'Eyes open, stay present!', 'Vande Gurunam...where was I?'

Where you’ll start to see me sweat: Primary: Surya Namaskar B in summer, Maryachasana C in winter. Intermediate: Shalabasana 

Where you’ll start to see me cry: I never cry! Wait a sec...oh yes, Nakrasana. 

When you'll start to see me laugh: When someone says: ‘Now that I've mastered Primary when do you think I can start Intermediate?’

Favorite asana: Savasana

Secret Yoga Desire: To float through not just jump through. To do Karandavasana and tick-tocks unassisted. To practice well into my 90's.
